The menu at Sale e Pepe Tradizione Italiana is varied and includes homemade pasta, fresh fish catch of the day and meat. Your choice for lunch could include a light starter such as the ”Burrata” with red prawn carpaccio, baby leaf salad and green apple or the Marinated beef carpaccio with rocket leaves and parmesan shavings, followed by a delicious plate of Homemade pappardelle with wild boar ragu’ and Pecorino "di fossa” or the Paccheri di Gragnano with a seafood mix, cherry tomatoes and basil.
For a more comprehensive meal you could go for the Tagliolini with lobster sauce and marinated red prawns or the Gnocchi with aubergines, buffalo mozzarella and cherry tomatoes. In true Italian style there are several pasta dishes to choose from such as the Sale e Pepe signature dish Spaghettoni alla Carbonara with Guanciale, the Risotto “Four Tomatoes” and Burrata cheese or the Linguine with fresh clams, garlic, white wine and chilli. For those who prefer stuffed pasta we offer Homemade Ravioli filled with ricotta, fresh cherry tomatoes, basil and parmesan shavings.
Fresh catch of the day is offered depending on what the market offers. Fish dishes on the menu include Fried Calamari and mixed vegetable tempura, Seabass fillet in a sea salt crust with a lemon vegetable salad and aioli sauce and Sale e Pepe Tradizione Italiana's specilaity: Roasted Salmon with Tuscan tomato & bread salad “Panzanella”.
For patrons preferring red meat, the Grilled Beef fillet with green pepper sauce and the Beef fillet “bocconcini” with balsamic vinegar, rocket, cherry tomatoes & parmesan shavings are available.
House specialites are: the Pork “Cotoletta alla Milanese” with fries and the Rabbit like Tuna served with mixed vegetables.
For those who prefer white meat the Chicken “saltimbocca” is also a must.
